Description
The general title page (1625) engraved within woodcut border comprising twenty-four compartments showing the tents of the twelve tribes as well as the figures of the twelve apostles. Title is enclosed within a heart-shaped frame. Text in two column black letter. Apocrypha included as issued. New Testament title page (1625) with border like the general title. Concludes with colophon (1624) and tailpiece. Bound with Two Concordances by R[obert] H[errey] with title page (1622). Various woodcut first chapter initials and head- and tailpieces.

A-Z^8, Aa-Zz^8, Aaa-Rrr^8. Bible text complete with all titles.
Binding
Rebound in reverse calf with original covers laid down. Spine with four raised band a red label with the words “Holy Bible” lettered in gilt. Marbled endpapers. Hinges reinforced.
Condition
A1 (Gen 1) closed inner tear without loss; trimmed, approaching headlines; Bb2 lower corner repair without loss; Lll8 closed repaired tears; Lll-Rrr pin-sized wormtrack to fore-edge margin; Ppp-Qqq repair to fore-edge margin without text loss.
